CSS Minifier

Strip comments, whitespace and optional last semicolons to make a stylesheet as small as possible.

How it works

  • Selectors, strings and url() contents are never altered — only redundant whitespace and comments are removed.
  • The final semicolon before a closing brace can be dropped, which is valid CSS and saves a byte per rule.
  • The result line shows the exact number of bytes (and percent) saved.
