How it works
- Remove everything re-encodes the picture, which discards all EXIF, GPS, IPTC and XMP metadata. The pixels are preserved; a JPEG is saved at your chosen quality.
- Remove GPS only edits the metadata in place so the camera, date and exposure data are kept but the location is deleted (JPEG files).
- The result is shown as a report listing the tags that were found and removed so you can verify the location is gone.
- Tick "fix orientation" to bake the EXIF rotation into the pixels, so the picture is not sideways after the data is stripped.
