How it works
- The GIF is decoded frame by frame, played onto a canvas at your chosen frame rate and recorded into a real video file with the browser’s MediaRecorder.
- WebM (VP8/VP9) is supported everywhere; MP4 is exported when your browser can record it (most recent Chrome and Edge can).
- A higher frame rate gives smoother motion but a larger file. The width controls the resolution.
- Conversion happens entirely on your device — the GIF and the resulting video never leave your browser.
