How it works

The image is reduced to its most representative colours with median-cut quantisation — the same family of algorithm used by professional image tools.
Pick between 3 and 12 colours. Each swatch shows the exact HEX and RGB value with a one-click copy button.
The CSS tab gives ready-to-paste custom properties, and the JSON export contains every swatch with its share of the image.
Transparent pixels are ignored, so a logo on a transparent background returns the logo colours, not the background.
