Flatten PDF Forms

Turn interactive form fields into normal page content so nobody can change them.

How it works

  • Text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns and signature fields are baked into the page, keeping their current values and appearance.
  • Flattening is the usual step before archiving or sending a filled form: what you see is exactly what the recipient gets.
  • Optionally remove comments, sticky notes and other annotations as well.
  • Very new XFA forms (created by old LiveCycle/Acrobat versions) are not standard PDF fields and may not flatten — such files are reported instead of producing a broken PDF.
