How it works

Editable text extracts the selectable text of each page into Word paragraphs — best for reports, contracts and articles. Scanned PDFs contain no text: use OCR first.
Page images puts a high-resolution image of every PDF page into the document, so the result looks exactly like the PDF but the text is not editable.
Multi-column layouts and complex tables are extracted as reading-order text, which is never as tidy as the original — a perfect conversion needs a desktop office suite.
