How it works

Handles the common RTF control words (\par, \line, \tab, \page) plus \uN Unicode escapes and \'hh hex characters.
Font, colour, style and picture groups are recognised and skipped rather than leaking into the text.
Formatted text is emitted as plain paragraphs - bold and italic are intentionally not kept, since a .txt file cannot hold them.
The whole conversion runs locally in your browser.
