Silence Trimmer

Detect and remove silent passages from an audio file and download a tighter WAV.

How it works

  • A sample is "silent" when its absolute value is below the threshold (in dBFS).
  • Minimum silence length prevents tiny gaps between words from being cut.
  • The kept segments are concatenated with a short crossfade to avoid clicks.
