How it works

Keys and values are escaped with encodeURIComponent, so spaces, ampersands and non-ASCII characters are always safe.
Spaces can be encoded as %20 (standard) or + (form style) — pick whichever your endpoint expects.
Blank lines are ignored, and a key with no = is emitted as a bare flag.
